I just got my Angelibright today and installed them. I noticed the left side rings were much dimmer than the right side. In fact there was a slight yellowish color as compared to the right, which were bright and a pure white. I reinstalled the left side several times, but the same thing occurs. I know Jiio had the same problem and he also has an 07 model. I'm thinking BMW might have changed something on the 07's. I emailed Angelibright and hopefully they can come up with a solution. If they can't then I'll just have to return them and wait for Umnitza.

Octo,
I have a 2005 545i. Yes, my inner left ring is very dim. I have not yet re-installed the left side. Iceman316 has the same problem too. Iceman316 has a 2007 550i. He re-installed but mentioned the left innner ring is still not the same intensity as the right inner ring.

Alos, in addition to the dim inner left ring, there is the FM reception you should look into. Look for my thread about that.

OK, I figured out the problem. I took both lights, hooked them up and compared the light output. It was easy to see that one light was not as bright and the color was off as well. So the problem seems to be a defective light. I'm going to call Angelibright and see how they want to handle it. Don't know if I should return both or just the defective one.

Well, that saves me the trouble of fiddling around with the AIBs. I'll request new ones. Octo, let me know what Dave says about this.

Not all the AIBs are defective. It would seem that the first batch that was release is fine. I think we are the first to have any issues with the AIBs.

I just got a reply to my email from Angelibright. They said they weren't aware of any problems like this and that the units they send out are computer matched. They told me to just return the dimmer unit and they'll ship out a new one the same day. I'm glad they responded, but why should I have to pay to ship a defective unit back to them. I think they should send me a new unit and include a prepaid box so I can ship the defective unit back. Oh well, what's $5 for shipping when I've already paid $315.

I notice the left is dimmer than the right....... but I don't believe the AIBs are defective

since I just picked the random bulbs for each side, why is the EVERYONE'S left side dimmer? can it be some problems with the headlight unit itself? since I noticed the space for the AIB is tighter on the left side
