Just came across a thread over in bimmerfest about a group buy for the AngeliBrights. $299+shipping. Offer will end Friday 5/5/06. http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthrea...493#post1703493.

It's only for the white. I'm still contemplating about red, white or blue.
Is it still going to happen? cause it doesn't look like they have 20 people..

The stock angel eye halos have a yellowish glow like halogen lights. AngeliBright bulbs replace the stock angel eye bulbs and emit a xenon-like glow and are brighter than the stock bulbs.

So, we're just basically changing the bulbs for whiter, brighter bulbs. It has been a while since anyone has come up with a solution for this upgrade. PIAA recently came out with a set but people have said they weren't that bright. Another option is to cut open the light assembly and replacing the halo rings. That solution is being offered by Lightwurkz/Umnitza I believe. Both PIAA and the Lightwurkz/Umnitza solutions are priced at around $200 or less. AngeliBrights on the other hand, are in between the other two as far as brightness (so I've read) and sells for $349.

Hope that explains it.
Thanks Euro, that makes sense. Do you know if installed by my dealer, does is change warranty on car?

Hi WMB,
I'm uncertain what the dealer will do. It's basically just a bulb replacement so I wouldn't think there'd be a problem with the warranty. Of course, if that bulb burns out, you couldn't get it replaced by the dealer because it's not the factory bulb but CustomAngelEyes has their own warranty on the AngeliBrights.

You can probably replace the bulbs yourself. I believe Chi-Town Racing did a DIY write up about it under the DIY forum.

Let me see what I can do for you guys

Will have to check it over with legal, because we are not supposed to give any discounts on these(so keep quite <_< )

But seriously, since you all seem to be such a great group of guys, if you can get 20 guys together, I think I can offer something that might satisfy all of you.

Will make an update tomorrow.

Dave

Yes, Dave, a discount for e60 forum members would be fantastic!! It would boost sales for Custom Angel Eyes, would put alot more of your product on the streets, having us drive by the BMW dealerships and our neighborhoods having people wondering how we got the great looking Angel Eyes!! It is a win-win situation...
