i followed everything in the previous thread and got my angel eyes to light up with ignition on and when unlocking. Im having an issue with the tail lights, i tapped into the black and red wire and the rods will light up plus a brake light, and when i connect it to the other taillight, that side will light up with the brakes but the left side will lose its brake light and remain with rods. Can someone tell me why is this happening, i just want the rods to light up without the brake light. also the Diode is facing towards the tailights, is this wrong. I followed the diagram posted.

Another thing i noticed, when i remove the inner bulb on the tail light that has the brake on. Then the other tail lights brake bulb will light up. Once i removed both inner bulbs to get the only Rod look. I get error saying both left and right tail lamps are out. BTW i have Bruces V6 cables. Any suggestion would be appreciated

Hm maybe the diodes are burnt out?

Man that sucks!!!! I saw that thread too and then after I saw what was involved I said HEEEEEEEEEEELL no! NO way I'm messing with ANYTHING electrical with these cars, period!!!

I got both to work but now i get left an rifht tail malfunction.

Also does it matter if the diode is closer to the tail lights orshould it be where tge other two diodes are?
