I have a 2007 550 with the bi-xenon adaptive headlights. I also have the option in iDrive to enable/disable the DRLs, but on pre-LCI e60s, the DRLs are the flash-to-pass lights, not the angel eyes like the LCI e60s. Does anyone know of a way to use the angel eyes as the DRLs on a pre-LCI?

I did a few searches before posting but didn't find many answers other than the one you provided. Search terms included "angel eyes" and "daytime running lights". I'm happy to continue my search, but maybe you could offer a few other suggestions for how to find this. Thanks

I was interested having the angle eyes as DRL also when I got my pre-lci but at the end, I think the best method, as recommended by another member, was just to turn the light switch on and off. At least you have the I-Drive function to turn on and off. I don't even that available.
Good luck with your search.

U can also have the dealer code it to turn on but would cost you. Some guys did it that way or find someone that's able to do it for.
