NAV doesn't make a difference. Go here:
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?mo...826&hg=51&fg=95

You won't be able to buy at those prices, but the p/n's are good.

Those appear to be the correct PNs but beware, they are not valid US parts...and your US-based parts department cannot order them. I am in Munich with my ED 530...tomorrow it goes into Munich's Niederlassung Munich for the change from anthracite poplar to Al Cube.

Even though they are not parts that are used on US model E60's the US dealer's parts departments should have no problems ordering them. As a matter of fact there was a BMW Dealer parts guy on this forum a few months ago saying that he had ordered a set of the ALU Feinschlief and can do the ALU CUBE as well. I think he was charging something like $650 for the set. I tried ordering the ALU Feinschlief from my pats guy and he checked and said that not only could he order it but it was actually in stock in the US, even though they don't use that trim on US E60's either. I decided to get the M-kit instead and leave that for later.

I would be interested to see whether BMW NA let's your car go thorough the VPC with the ALU CUBE. I have never modified my Euro Delivery cars before they got to the US because I have heard that sometimes they remove the modified parts at the US VPC and return the car to what was ordered from the factory. If I were you I would not risk it.....I would just buy the parts at Niederlassung Muenchen and bring it with me.....then replace it when the car gets to the US. Nevertheless, if you are going to have it done in Munich I would love to know if the ALU CUBE is still in there when you take redelivery here in the US.

I addressed the VPC issue with BMW prior to departure.

I tried 3 dealers in the N. CA area for the Al Cube trim...none could/would order as they indicated the parts are NOT valid US part numbers (don't know why they would tell me no if the parts were orderable)...they are in the system but cannot be ordered.

The price in DE is about 320 Euros....times 1.20 $/Euro = $380 USD.

Install is estimated at 2 hrs.

BTW, your M-technik aero package looks great...that will be next after it gets to the US.

Is that 320 Euros for the 4 pieces for the dashboard (2), console, and ashtray cover? Does it include the 4 door handle trims as well?

Seems strange that we crave what we cant get as standard, i'm doing the reverse instead of ordering a car with alu cube standard, i'm paying ?100 to get the Black Maple from build. I think that the Alu cube is in your face, I have have it in Black in my current 330is, it looks good, in Silver its WAAHHH!!!
