Anybody knows if Alpina is used to sell any item of their full kit range as OEM part? I really like their steering wheel, pretty cool with those buttons to operate the steptronic and the thicker, better refined aspect. And you don't need to change your airbag!

Alpina.de

The steering wheel is only available with the car. Maybe it will be available as a part one day.

that is so bad (the look) and the big wheel for brutal sporty Alpina???
I do not see the + and - tranny button on the wheel being a good idea as opposed to our 5er serie SMG paddles.....
This way it will much more easier for acidental pressing of the button

It's an AUTO, not SMG. Therefore you can press the buttons accidentaly with no effect. They will only work in Manual mode. And when you use the manual mode you have your thumbs on the buttons anyways. I really like the idea of the buttons, but I don't like that this is a standard steering wheel. I'd like to have the heated sports steering wheel with those buttons.

The Switchtronic buttons on Alpina wheel rims are on the rear of the wheel. It's just stitching on the front surface... - and + symbols
