Is that pinstriping? I thought it was a reflection or from the camera flash... the body kit looks great!
Looking good, aside from the pinstriping and the "S" badge.

My Ride: 2007 550i, Mystic Blue over Auburn, 6-Manual, Sports, Premium, Cold Weather, Logic 7, Nav, Sirius, MTec Front & Sides with M5 rear apron, VIS Penta carbon fiber vented hood, OEM M166s, (or Style 101M with winter 19 Blizzaks), BMW Blue Calipers, Custom Quad Exhaust and M5 side grills, trunk finisher and spoiler. Rogue Octane SSK/WSR and Zeckhausen CDV, BMW illuminated shift knob, Delivered 4/26/06 - Ordered 3/18/06 from Otto's (the Best) BMW Dealership.
I figured you guys would trash the pinstripes... It was an experiment as the dealer gifted them- they actually look much better to the eye than the camera - the colors are the same as the interior and the red picks up the taillights. They accent the bodyline really well and it fools you a bit. I actually get a lot of compliments on them but the camera makes them garish. Maybe I'll live with them a bit longer and see- to each his own right?
Those BMW badges on the side grills came from eBay- they're the "best" quality resin ones- I just couldn't use the M5 badge and blank looked weak. The camera also shows the emblems as crooked- which is strange because they don't seem to be to the eye and I installed them with a tape guide. Maybe the heat gun to set the adhesive moved them somewhat but I can't really see it in person. More checking but that's an easy fix.
In the old days- BMW badged the sport models with an "iS". My first 528 was an iS and although my last was debadged, I think the title was iS also, but I could be mistaken. Anyway, I had debadged this one but thought I'd fool around with it and see what it looked like. Because the i and S are connected at teh bottom- it looks old school. Again I'll live with it for a while and see-
Thanks for the comments.
PS: for anyone near Delaware or eastern PA, AfterMarketAccents in West Chester PA did my side grills and M5 apron and quads. Pat will be happy to help you too-

Looking good, the quads and the side grills look sweet. The pinstripes look pretty good, they are a unique touch. I wouldn't get them with the colour of my car, but like you said to each his own.
How much was the install on the side grills at your shop?

Totally agree on the 166's - been looking for OEM but everytime I wash the 124's I think they look great so why invest? That thought will lose out eventually and I will break down and get the 166's. All the other choices seem to look strange to me- but again it's such a taste thing.
Pat at After Market Sales in West Chester PA charges $300 for the side grill install, including rust treatment of the bare metal and inner fender. The fit is perfect as I originally had satin black fins and changed them out- I can't believe there is 1/64" clearence there! He also did my complete exhaust and will repeat it for $1050 installed (discount with more of course) because he uses an expensive flange to allow disassembly and the fabrication takes 8 hours. He can also paint and hang the M5 rear, or use your stock apron and cut the passenger side so you can still do quads. I prefer the M5 as the tips are 6 inches wider apart from side to side- but again- to each... If you do the M5, that price also includes fabrication of a really nice support bracket using the factory pick-ups in the spare tire well to secure the bottom of the diffuser frame (you can see it under the diffuser screen in the picture). The diffuser was made by me for $1.59 using a gutter screen and satin plastic paint. Yeah- I know... It took 15 minutes and I did it as a template (and temporary) because I'm trying to find real Mtec honeycomb to fabricate a better one.
This was the best mod ever as I hear it, feel it and see it on every ride.
