almost $1000 for airbag is it resonable?

Hey guys.. i am trying to switch my steering to M steering and needs airbag.. so i contact local bmw and asked for part quote and sayd $968 .... Is it reasonable price?

No, I have seen them go for $300 to $400USD on ebay. Be careful with dealer pricing, they NEVER seem to try to compete.

it is hard to ship an airbag though. try tischer bmw, they advertise airbags on their site, so I'm assuming they're willing to ship them.
they dont ship airbag due to hazmat problem...
