Anybody do an aftermarket xenon coversion? If so, where did you mount the ballasts? Or does anybody have any suggestions on where the ballasts could be mounted?

I recently done it.
I got it mounted underneath the headlight unit. You will need to remove it off first.

Just some futher questions

Are BMW dealerships the best place to get retrofit Xenons?
Will they just fit the xenons inside the angel eye rings ie will the angel eye rings be standard halogen?
Is it possible to get the fog lights converted
And....finally - would BMW dealers fit xenon angel eyes
Phew!!

Cheers in advance

BMW is the best place to retrofit Xenon with the worst labor charge. Plan 3-5 hours of labor charge at least.

Fog lights can be done although I've found that if you put too high of a temperature in the fog lights, it could heat up your housing too much and show some burn marks... You need to replace your fog lights with different housings, I dono if its available where you are, but they are available here in thailand. Its much better with xenon although the bad thing would be, when it rains or if it ever gets foggy, your fogs light will be very close to useless. Its best to keep it halogen for safety purposes. Cheers...
