Looks like the tread has been hijacked.

Hey, I just got an invitation to AutoShow in Motion in Nov.? The event sounds similar to what you went to.? This is held by GM and we'll be test driving all GM cars like Corvettes, Cadillacs, Hummers...etc...? It's being held at Great America from Nov 10-13.? I would love to try the C6.

Sorry as well - whatsclaimed weight on the LM's - I guess almost anything is lighter than our stock 18 wheels?

Lm's look great!

But I spoke to Dinan, may get their wheels - but waiting for the price to come down - which it will.

Besides the fact that they look good, LMs are 2-pc forged, strong wheels for NYC.

So Bambi, when are you getting your kit and rims?

I think maybe I am confused. I was thinking that your wheel size and tire heigth put your car an inch higher than stock. Am I wrong? I wasn't talking about a gap. I think your car looks just fine without lowering. I suppose it might look a tad better lowered, but doing it right is sort of expensive, and I hate to mess with the the BMW engineering. Also, it would just give me one more aftermarket item to remove (probably) when I dispose of the car.

Oops, sorry, I believe the overall diameter is about an inch bigger than stock.

Got it; thanks.

Hey Wheelzplus. Welcome to the forum. Your car looks great. Must be nice to have two set of rims... I had contemplated on those Lowenhart LDRs before I got my Radenergies. I also have those carbon fibre roundels. The Zenetti kit looks pretty clean from the pictures as well.

Where in the Bay Area are you? Too bad you didn't join last week cause we had a recent e60 meet on Sat at Santana Row. Hopefully you can make it to the next one.

the lowenharts i bought used from a friend before i had the car. then zenetti hooked me up with the kit and rims sinse im a contracted salesman for them it kinda helped them out too, but to tell you the truth i like the ldr's better. im a wheel wholesaler in the bay area for other rims aswell so thats why i guess get to have more than one set of rims. i live in union city and work in union city. that would have been kinda cool to go to that meet, maybe the next one.

Ahh...how about offering us fellow e60 owners a deal on wheels? I know that some on the forum are sitting on the fence on getting new wheels but I'm sure they'll jump on a good deal.

We'll definitely have another meet, just not sure when but check in on the Meet & Greet forum from time to time for any notices. Unless you want to start one then by all means.....
