[quote name='EuroCarFan' date='Oct 20 2005, 11:21 PM']Yeah, there's about an inch gap.? I guess I'm fine with it.? We have a e60 meet this Sat so I'm hoping to see if any other car is lowered and how it looks.
So Bambi, when are you getting your kit and rims?

EuroCarFan, I'm thinking maybe I should do everything after the winter since snow is pretty bad up here. I just want to see the different sizes of rims on the e60 before I make a decision.

No spacers, no lowering kit, not yet anyway.... just the Sports Pkg.
So have you found your wheel replacements yet? Oh and I don't suppose you'd be interested in taking a drive down to San Jose tomorrow for an e60 meet at Santana Row would you? Check out the Meet and Greet forum for details.

The event was awesome - we should get a bunch of E60er's to the next event in San Jose.
They set up multiple race course to drive lux - performance ( no speed limit on the corvette ).
I dorve the vette, sweet ride but I had an jerk@* instructer who pulled me out of 2nd gear a coupple of times while I was drifting - I probably scared the hell out of him but - on two corners when I braked hard - aimed the steering and floored it - he reacvhed over and pulled my shift into neutral sedning the engine revving empty to the redline.
Told me he was a skip barber instructer and I would have spun - what a tosser, I would have spun or drifted a bit but not out of countrol, the dsc was on.
I also drove the gto - much more fun, no instructor - all out - the thing flys!

Hey, I just got an invitation to AutoShow in Motion in Nov. The event sounds similar to what you went to. This is held by GM and we'll be test driving all GM cars like Corvettes, Cadillacs, Hummers...etc... It's being held at Great America from Nov 10-13. I would love to try the C6.
