Hey Guys!

I've read as much as I could find on the net about this mod. There seems to be little data relative to installs on New 08 550i's.

This will be probably the last mod I add if you guys think it's really worth it. I'm looking for a little better sound and some more torque at open throttle.

I'm reluctant to add as a mod if there is any risk of heat soak or excess moisture from heavy rains.

Can you guys let me know how much increased risk there is for any of the aforementioned?

I am not looking to install this mod myself. If I can get the part for $350 how much should a professional install cost me? Would Eurorev be the best place to have it installed in Southern CA?

Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

Fight On Trojans!

So Cal

Do it! I've had it on the 545i for over two months and no problems. Eurorev has experience installing the AFE CAI on a 550i. They installed it on ICEMAN 316's 550i.

Thanks fellas.

I will have EuroRev do it. What kind of labor in man hours is involved in something like this?

I have no idea and before calling Vincent --I want to truly know what a "good deal" is.

The part is $375+shipping and then figure another $150 to install? Is that about right?
