Default Advice for pushing out wheel "rivets"

Hello Eveyone,
I've contacted Varrstoen directly and they have informed me I can push out the wheel rivets (fake. Only for asthetics)
How do I go about doing this? I'm not even sure how to tell If they are plastic or aluminum. I've heard heat them up.
My obstacle is they do not sell replacements..
So if I mess up im done for.
Each wheel has about 30-40 of these things.
Hammer and a punch? small propane tortch? Anyone done this?
Removing for powdercoating
Thanks for your time!

I know the wheels makes your car look damn good, but might not be worth touching up after all.

Your in luck my friend had to remove mine also to get my wheels painted. I just used a Hammer and a allen key (the L portion had already been cut off) as a punch nothing else.... Just set the wheel face down on something sturdy that wont damage the lip or face. N knock the plastic rivets out. Doesnt take much force you will find that some of them are stubborn tho but I managed to get all of mine out without any damage to the wheel or "rivets" themselves.Once the wheels were painted they all went back in fine I had the shop re-install them so I wouldnt be responsible for messing up the finish. There are replacement rivets but I never ordered them because I didnt need too. This is from a email from Tim when I inquired about the rivets when I made my purchase. Hope this helps bro, taking these out is a breeze though I've done it.

"This is the website that sells the rivets:
http://www.prestigewheel.com/Imagepwarc119s.asp
The PWA-RC-119-S looks to be the most similar ones. I would buy 2-4 and see
if they fit before proceeding to buy a bunch."
