I have a 2005 530d with Logic7 system and I am pretty happy with the sound quality.

However, due to another mod I may have to open up my door cards, so I thought, why not add some Dynamat to improve the sound insulation of the doors - surely it can not hurt an will make the sound even better?

BUT.. I read in another mod topic about a US car, that the upgraded interior with much improved sound insulation made the stock stereo system sound very strange, so it needed new settings to fit better the upgraded insulation!

So my question to the HiFi gurus is: if I add Dynamat insulation inside my doors, do I run the risk of making my Logic7 sound worse?

Thanks for any views..
