adding ski pass-through to a 525i

My Ride: 2004 525i - stock with BMW base rack, Yakima ski rack attachment
Hello all, I have a 525 and do not have the ski pass-through option. My question is has anyone here added one to their car and know what is involved and what parts are needed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry can't answer your question, but I don't have a ski pass-through either. I'm planning to make one myself. I bet adding it aftwerwards with OEM parts would cost honey.

I'd try realoem.com to get the proper jist of it. It can be done, but is it worth the cost of the parts is what you should be asking, just like any other after sale option add on.

My Ride: '04 545i Sapphire Black/Black 6-speed Manual, Sport, AS, CWP, Navi, Premium Sound, Bluetooth, iPod Adapter.
Sorry I don't have the answer either but certainly interested in knowing possibility. My car doesn't have rear fold down seats and would love to add that feature. People, we need insight...Thanks.
