Hi,
Like to do the boot release switch myself, found the part number for the switch, but if there are no wires behind, what do I connect it to? Any help gratefully recieved.

ok here goes:-
You will need:- boot/trunk realese switch, 4 or 3 pol uncoded conector and 3 bushing contacts.
Part no.s escape me at the moment as i am at work but pm me and i will find them for you.
Remove footwell and bonnet/hood release trim.
Disconect the battery.
You should see two boxes, one white and one black, The black one is the light control module and the white is the car acsses module.
Undo the retaining screws on the two modules and unclip the cable plugs on both.
Pin 1 of the trunk/boot switch connects to pin39 of the CAS module.
Pin 3 of the trunk/boot switch connects to pin 43 of the light module, this pin wil have a grey/red cable allready fitted, you will need to piggy back this cable for the switch to light up.
Pin 2 is the ground, fit a sutible ring terminal and add it to one of the retaining screws.
refit the trim, and re-connect the battery and test.
