My car has no folding rear seats, and no ski bag area. Is there anyway I can add this to the car?

It should be definitely possible if you can just buy the hardware and seats from a part-out, or something. At least, I think so... come to think of it, good thread

It definitely is doable. Just a matter of getting the parts. Its expensive.

I'm going to give this a little bump..

Has anyone ever done this on the forum, or is their a DIY you may know about on any over BMW forums? I only use this one.

sounds expensive to fabricate folding rear seats. the roof rack would be cheapest way to go!

I thought about doing this as well. Here is what I found out. In order to do it you have to replace the seatback frame as well as the cushions and fabric. Parts alone were $2,800! Back to the roof rack idea... Good luck!

Yikes! That's just not an option then. This blows. My benz and my BMW both did not have the folding seats and it blows my mind how I can get this option with a Cavalier standard, but it's not with these high end cars.. Rage!

LOL...Tell me about it. I frequently take my wife's Honda Civic (rather than my 5er) when I need to go pick up something at Lowe's/Home Depot. The folding seats have come in handy so many times.
