he is right dont get from ebay. you just dont know what you are getting.
But I got my kit at a boby shop in HK which is very good and 100% fit.
here is the website if you are thinking of getting them.

That link is the same ACS Replica spoiler I have for 4x the amount. Why on earth should he buy from this guy? Makes no sense.

xephar - The spoiler I got off eBay works great and is also a perfect fit. Many members on this forum got their roof spoiler on eBay and have been satisfied. Save your money for other mods. Buy from the seller I got mine from. He was great.

But if I would get a new kit I would go for the PU ACS itis only $400us more.
When I got my this was not out, but they make them not so go for the PU 100%

I bought one on ebay for my E60. It doesn't fit that great. The ACS replica doesn't curve to the glass. Also...The one I purchased was pre-painted. The add claimed that it would match the factory paint. It didn't even come close. The painted spoiler had weird ripples in it and contained little pits..
I bought a pre-painted Trunk and Roof spoiler from ebay. The colors match was perfect, and the trunk spoiler look great, but I had the same problem as others. The roof spoiler did not fit the contour of the glass, so I had a lot of trouble getting it to stay on with the adhesive. It's sitting in the garage until I make a 2nd attempt.

same here... just took it out of package (well wrapped and well painted from HK ebay seller) it sits on glass with two arched gaps ~4mm at center-left and center-right. The only places the spoiler makes good contact is at the very center for ~10cm and at both edges.

Are the heat gun and really good suction adhesive clamps the answer then? (leaves out doing it myself) How do I tape this down to compress the arches without ruining the paint?

Thanks

I used clear cilicone on my roof spolier and tape it down with masking tape( do not put the masking tape down on the roof spolier, only on the roof and the glass that you push down and leave it for 24h and then take the tape off slowly.
