It's a hit and missed... Some members on this forums that I have talked to have had bad experience with ACS replicas (ended up buying an authentic afterward) and others such as cmansbimmer are satisfied with the results

I just bought one on eBay a few weeks ago and had it painted locally. The body shop I took it too had to heat up the plastic to mold it a little better to the roof, but it's perfect. Looks great and is on there for good! I would avoid spending the money on the real thing. It's 10x more money and it looks identical.

I bought one on ebay for my E60. It doesn't fit that great. The ACS replica doesn't curve to the glass. Also...The one I purchased was pre-painted. The add claimed that it would match the factory paint. It didn't even come close. The painted spoiler had weird ripples in it and contained little pits..

I went to a local, high end, body shop and had them paint it. The guy charged me $60 to paint it. A lot of the M5 owners in my town go there. It was a referral, so I think he hooked me up. I then had him mount it for $20.
I went with the 3M industrial strength tape first, but wasn't convinced it was on tight enough. I went back and had the body shop mount it with silicone or a eurethane. It's now perfect anbd isn't going anywhere. The paint job is absolutely perfect and there are no pits are anything. The spoiler looks like it's stock!
Here's the thing...the replica does not sit perfect when you first "test mount it", but the body shop threw the spoiler under the heat lamp and molded it to the glass. It now sits perfect. The key is to get a replica that is made of ABS Plastic. Otherwise, you end up with pits and a wavy shape to it, which is not what you want. I think that's what the member that just posted above, must have gotten bc I have no pits and it looks fantastic. I would not buy it pre-painted if I were you. Buy from these guys. They're good.

normally it is way better buying the authentic even if costs more but comes with warranty and was tested before to fit, I would buy real AC spoiler and forget ebay or get it from roveractive or others on ebay who sell authentic, be aware there are dozens of crap quality stuff on ebay too good luck!
But I got my kit at a boby shop in HK which is very good and 100% fit.
