that sucks scott but it looks awsome! i have the same problem but i just said forget it and let it go i just think of it as extra protection =p

Thanks Anthony. The plan to is follow Dranged's advice by taking it off, removing the tape in the areas where it would be visible and reinstalling it. That will happen on Friday morning.
Just remember to add some adhesive in place of the tape - you still want a strong bond.

Scott, the recessed area on the underside of the spoiler is meant to mate up to this area I pinpointed on the trunklid. If you use tape outside this area, it is visible. They may need to use two layers of tape on the recessed area to take up up the recessed gap as well. I would explain this to whoever installed the spoiler and have them redo it. That is just piss poor workmanship.
