Does the ACS style lip sit lower than the OEM bumper? I am afraid that it will look weird when I put it on. I know there are a few members here that have it installed could some one post some pics please?

And how easy is the installation?

Thank you so much.

EDIT: Sorry wrong section.

I have it! One sec... lemme find pics.

Edit: crap, they're not here at work. I'll have to snap some for you at home later today and I'll post up. I had the ACS front lip installed about a month ago and LOVE IT!!! Such a huge difference compared to OEM, (and way cheaper than Mtech). Anyways, no, its not lower than OEM because you'll notice that the OEM bumper is higher in the front and dips down as it goes towards the tire. The ACS lip goes down as far as the lowest point of the OEM dip near the wheel and gives the car a much lower front-end look, get it? So, while you may have less clearance when on a downward angle, it has not hindered my driving ability thus far. What it has done, however, is made my car look super pimptastic compared to stock.

Yea that sounds sweeeet. So you do not have aftermarket side skirts of rear bumper right?
Could you snap some side/front pic?

Thanks again!

Oh, and did you have them installed by a shop or did you do it yourself?

I bought the lip off eBay for like 70 bucks. It was a PU replica and worked out fine. The plastic mold quality wasn't perfect so the body shop had to put a primer or whatever a little thicker before painting. In the end it turned out fantastic and the paint job cost me about 150 bucks, (they mounted it free). The whole thing cost me $220. I watched them install it and now I know why they didn't charge me, it was a 5 minute job. All you had to do was remove the OEM plastic inserts that hold the fogs in place, (2 pieces), then put the ACS Lip on, (it just snaps on and holds on to the L and R side of the OEM bumper), and then add some glue to the middle part, and 2 screws on each side to make sure it doesn't come off. Piece of cake!

I don't have M-tech side skirts, YET, (and I'm not doing ACS sides or rear - I don't like the look). But I will have the Mtech sides very soon as Uminitza just came out with replicas for only $199 non-painted. I'll have those put on within the next month to make the car look complete as well as the Trunk finisher from Trinity, too.

Wow thats cheap. I am probably going to get them from Nerweezy for 375 shipped and painted because there is no place to get them painted where I live (except for the dealership.)

I don't believe that. There has got to be a lot of local places in Florida that can do it. Anyways, $375 isn't a horrible price.

I wish I could find a trunk finisher for less than 300 bucks painted and shipped, though.
