Just want to share with you how fun this project is. Main tasks of this project are major surgery of our member Freed0m's Hamman/Dinan E60, and add some new organs (ACM, front camera, rear camera & RCA video source)
In order to install, I have to remove just a few things from inside the car:

Open up some covers in engine compartment to feed front cam wire through firewall into cabin

Here are Universal CAN controller (on the left) and Accessory Control Module (right with blue connector)

Back up cam is Vizualogic Hindsight C-1000. It's quite heavy and big though, but image quality is top notch. It has proprietary S-video type connector. Two pins are composite signals and the other two are power and ground. I must custom-made these wiring set to accomodate that proprietary connector. Total are 3 customed made wires. It's quite challenge and feel very rewarding when it works the way it means to be.

Fred - You are one sick bastard! That one shot with all the wires just scares me! You are crazy, but you are a genius! I'm calling you McGyver from now on.

Fred's an electronic wiz. That's amazing stuff. That said, man, I don't think I could ever do something like that to my car. She would feel so violated.

Fred, as always, I'm SUPER impressed!! By the way, what was your major in college? Electrical engineering??? Just curious, because I find your knowledge of automobile/electrical know-how quite fascinating!
