i guess to each his own, i think car is a bit overdone but not horrible, everyone has a different view on what a car should look like.
I been around the fixed up honda scene for almost 10 years. (not anymore).
Just seen this been done over and over and over and over and over and over again.

The peak of "coolness" for these types of custom cars was back in the early to mid 90's when
not too many people had them. After that everyone and their momma jumped on the bandwagon
and it went from cool to wanna-be-cool.

It's just played out as far as I'm concerned, or I'm just getting old and jaded.

In order for me to be truly impressed....I would need to see a Maybach done up proper.
And I don't mean 25" wheels, rainbow leather seats, tv's in the trunk and a whatever else
you might find on the Pimp My Ride show on t.v.

Again, read my second post in this thread. If someone was to "fix up" their car, it should look
along the lines of that Dinan 535i that I linked to. That car is very clean and tastefully modded.
Nothing on it screams "look at me".

What that car does scream is "don't look at me because I'm the spawn of satan himself and I
will eat your soul for breakfast, I'm such a bad ass."

The only thing I don't like about that black car is how low it is. An inch or two higher and
Das Fuhrer himself would roll over in the grave and rub one out.

That's just my .02

Edit:

OMG LOLWTF?

I just saw the link that the guy above linked to for more pics...

He's got the 20" chrome emblem above the front two tires lol.

I could take a trip down to South Central LA or East LA (ghetto areas here in So Cali)
and see any number of cars with that same 20" emblem.

That car is straight GHETTO. What's the German equivalent of "Rice" ?

I even think that Dinan 535 is about 1.5" too low. It needs a boost to look proper. Right now that ACS and DINAN 5 look like they're humping the ground. It just doesn't look right.

well said. he might say that you wasting money on engine mods and the bigger v8 is a waste of money. you like to drive fast and he likes to roll slow hommie. he probably thinks your gas guzzling v8 is a waste of money and all the engine work you do is pointless. Why buy a 545 and put thousands into the engine when you could of just bought the m5?
Watch it with that 545i and V8 talk

Tasteless ... why not black headliners and no sport steering wheel? Modded by someone who never owned a bimmer.

I must agree with most of us. Love the exterior, not feeling the electronics. I do like the carbon and I also like the leather. Without the flip out, the speakers and tv's this car is pretty bad ass...Just my thought...

Wow that E60 is sick! I agree it's way overdone for an E60, but it's understandable for a show car. What type of hre rims are those?
