My sale guy confirmed my CPO 545 comes with ARS. So I guess it is not an option for me to install the H&R sway bars? I had my e39 540 installed the Eiback sway bars and LOVED it.
So there's absolutely NO WAY to install the H&R sway bars? Help.......

My Ride: 2004 BMW 530i - no mods. Pretty basic really. I mean it has tires, windows, and a sweet look, what more could a man want? Honestly, I'd like to improve the sound system mildly, and possibly find a worthy engine mod that would increase my BHP by 100 without giving an arm and a leg for. I don't think it's out there, so I'll stay stock and love driving my 530i.

How would one know if they have ARS or not? I purchased CPO, so I'm not really certain of all the options that came on the car. Dealer wasn't any help either.

This is kind of a silly question. ARS (Active Roll Stabilization) uses hydraulic actuators to keep the car nearly level when cornering and provides more control and a better ride than any mechanical system would. So why on earth would you want to replace it with mechanical sway bars? IMO, what you've already got is at least as good and probably better.

Kevin, here is your solution. Get the Dinan front and rear roll control system. There are no aftermarket swaybars for cars equipped with ARS but with this kit, you'll be able to relocate the mounting location of your stock sway bars thereby "stiffening" up the bars and reducing body roll.

I know member freed0m had this on his 545. I also have a similar set up on my M5 and it works awesome.
