Im literally 3/4 of the way through my CIC retrofit & have a question about the final step of the 6NR (midconsule apple ipod/phone adapter) install.
My whole kit is from Patryk & everything else seems good to go: Combox, CIC, etc.
But:
I have a cable where one end clearly connects to the 6NR in the center consule (image 1). As you can see there are 2 cables that connect to the 6NR. the white one connects back to the Combox & is USB on the 6NR. the green one connects to the 3.5mm Aux jack on the 6NR but we dont know where the other end of the cable connects! Its pictured below as the white 12 pin connector in the final image.
Any idea or help? does it go to the CIC.
Pictures:
1. the 6NR termination block with USB & 3.5MM jack.
2. Green connector that goes into the 6NR
3. mystery white connector thats at the other end of the green connector cable & it goes???

Resolved: Thank you Balbs! (again)
For Posterity & Google searches in the future...
The White 12 pin connects directly into the back of the new CIC quadralock connector.
There are 2 slots it can fit into & they are next to each other.
When looking at the back of the CIC, it goes in the "left" slot.
Thanks again.

Hey Maddog,
I have the same issue with the aux connector. Did you have any issues after the connection. I have the old block connected to the new block. I was given a 12 pin connector to run from the old to the new block. I am wondering if I need the connector between the two blocks. Also did you only connect the black usb to the combox?

I dont fully understand the first part of your question, regarding blocks.
I can tell you what I did, & if you rephrase it &/or add pictures Ill tell you what I know.
For this problem (in reference to my post) the solution was that the white 12 pin in fact plugs into the back of the CIC unit. It snaps neatly into one of the larger cluster connectors & its color coded. Fairly easy to get it right once you pop it out & look at it. Its also keyed so it can only snap in one way.
You are correc that the black cable (USB termination here) does run back to the combox in the trunk.
You may find more helpful information quickly through my full install post, that can be found in the Link in my signature.
Hope that helps, I totally love this retrofit.
