After seeing Scott's (sdg1871) 6000k HID mod, I contacted John and got myself some HID bulbs. I finally did the swap this afternoon. Removing the headlight is very easy. I've done it in the past, so it was no biggie. The fitment of John's HID bulbs are the same as the OEM, so it's plug-n-play. The whole job took less than 30 minutes and I was taking my time. Anyway, I only took a few shots, since John and Scott had posted more detailed photos recently.

The last one shows how the stock (driver) vs 6000k (passenger), the lights are too bright to capture properly (sorry).

Johnny - I need a center console LED light for my X5. Actually, it requires 2 LED bulbs. Kerry installed mine, but he f-ed up the center console ones. Hahahnahaha! Bring me a set on Saturday. I'll have cash ready...and possibly even my X5 so you can do the install.

Sure you'll be there long enough to get the bulbs, C?

That's how I did mine as well. Once John put in the 6000K HID fogs, which have a whitish-bluish hue, they did not match the color of the OEM HID headlights, which have a yellow-whitish hue or the OEM angel eye bulbs, which also have a whitish-yellowish hue. Once you do one front lighting mod, you really have to do then all -- fogs, headlights and AEs.
