I purchased the R1 Premium Drilled Rotors with Hawk HPS pads for my 550i from Michael at Acute Performance.
Thank You Michael for your great Service, deal and fast shipping!!! I let my OEM pads go until my I drive said
-150 miles So it was a must change this past weekend. To my surprise the old pads still had 2mm left, but i would not reccomend driving any further! The install was fairly easy and I Cleaned the calipers up with a High temp med gloss black paint with high temp vinyl lettering. After bedding them in...They are getting stronger each drive!!!
No rusting like others have said, hope i didnt just jinx myself? Anyway I would reccomend this setup if you need front brakes replaced with pads and rotors. Sorry for the crappy phone pixs!

I REALLY like the way you did your calipers. Thinking about doing this to my car when it comes time for new brakes. Did you take them apart to paint them?

Also do you have any pics of the brakes with the wheels on??

I have the exact setup all around. I love my set. You will love the fact there's little or no dust even after miles of driving.

Hey you will have to seperate the two brake pieces once off the rotor to get new pads in anyway. Your prep work will be essential in making it look correct!
Take your time I sold my 19s and running with the stock 124s for now, winter set up then back to 20s for the summer...cant decide!

Very nice!
I have this exact setup fronts only and , although I have a little squealing, the brake dust is gone!
