My Ride: 2006 550i - silver gray, black leather, anthracite, logic7, cold package, SMG, sport, M Aero, nav, sat radio (due 11/05)
2004 545i, silver gray, tan leather, steptronic, sport, nav, cold package (on its way out...)
I have a new 2006 550i on order with sport package. I am having my dealer install the M Aero Kit. The dealer was not sure which tires came with the 550i sport package. I am trading in a 545i with sport and it has the 18" style 124s. The 550i may very well come with those.
Does anyone have any ideas on what 18" wheel would go well with M kit? I am hoping to stay with an 18" wheel due to New England road conditions.

Any other wheels (other than what show up on the dealer's ordering system) must be purchased separately as service parts. I think Style 172 looks amazing with M Aero Kit, but they are 19". You may also consider Style 135. For the different wheels, see: http://e60.net/information/options/wheels/

Style 135 only comes in 18X8 configuration. You may wish to consider Style 32 or 89.

Since you are purchasing new wheels, I would consider the 19" options. I know what you mean about road conditions and when I got my 545 with the 18's I thought the where huge. Then I visited a bimmerfest and looked at the cars with the 19's and 20's. When I got back to mine car, my tires looked small.
I am upgrading to the 19's and if the tires fit that I checked out (keeping my fingers crossed), I will have basically the same sidewall I have with my 18's - just filling up the gap more.
Wheels are very personall - I am partial to the 135's and 166's.
Congrats on the 550. Please tell me you really can't feel the power difference after you get it.

18" looks good with the M-pack, but 19" or more just fills it in better
