welcome and congrats on the 550. one mod that is worth it would be an ecu remap. member socalM5mang just recently had his 550 remapped. a remap is said to be undetectable by the dealer. if anything if the dealer overwrites your ecu, you could go back to the shop and have the ecu reflashed with the performance "chip". good luck with the mods, and post pics if you can. would like to see those HREs and the remus on your 550. enjoy the forums.

Go with the Remap at EuroRev. Ask for Vincent/Robert. It's made a huge difference with my car. You can really wind it out before switching gears in M-Mode.
Where did you get a Remus Custom exhaust done?

thanks guys much appreciated info
so cal, i got my exhaust from a little muffler shop that been doing the work for some of LAs most well know shops like 310, platinum, globe, by design and others. Its called AAA exhaust on venice and la cienega. talk to pepe the owner and tell him matt with the bmw sent you. they can custom make an exhaust for many different combos of tips and mufflers all at reasonable prices and high quailty workmanship. ive had many cars done there and ive always been happy.
any other performance tips besides the ecu?
