previously, i had a w209 CLK55 AMG, hence the username brabusw209amg. I drove it fine in the snow in upstate new york w/o snow tires on 18's with all seasons fine. now i am back to NYC and just traded in for a 545i 6spd. It still has the stock run flats with the stock 18s. I am almost positive that these are summer tires and i'll most likely get killed if i even think abt driving them in the snow or anything below 45F. I want to buy a set of 17" wheels with 17" snow tires. Does it fit???

I use replica 18" 166 rims with Nokian tires without studs, and have had no problems what so ever. I bought the replica rims off ebay for around $500.

I drive a 07 550 sport; installed winter 17" Michelins from Tire Rack with low cost Sport Edition rims. I drive in Calgary winter conditions back and forth to Banff with no problems
