awesome sound, I am liking it. btw, how is the sound inside the cabin with the windows closed? Since our E60 is such a quiet car inside the cabin, I wonder if it's gonna get too louder inside for long distance travel...

It's not silent, but it's not too loud. I wanted to hear it a bit since I enjoy the great v8 sound, but I don't want to have a headache after driving on the freeway for an hour. I am still getting used to it, but it really doesn't bother me at all.

nice to know. btw, is the exhaust just the rear section or it's cat-back? is it just bolt-on or cutting involve?

It is an axle back system. You cut the existing exhaust after the cats and resonators. Remove one bolt and the old exhaust comes out. RPI provides a clamp and the new exhaust goes on quite quickly. One problem that I believe RPI should address is the final hanger is a bit short and we were worried the exhaust might come loose so we welded a washer in place after the exhaust was installed so the hanger can't come loose.
