Ok so due in no small part from many of the opinions voiced here, as well as my own sense of the types of mods that I wanted to do to my 545i, I decided to take advantage of the current 10% special on Dinan signature packages and do a full S1 upgrade to my 545i. The S1 includes:

Intake, throttle body, exhaust, S3 software, suspension, front & rear strut braces and, most importantly of course, the pedal pads.

Given that I'm debadged, I'm going for total stealth (other than the exhaust tips) and won't put the Dinan trunk badge on, though I will let them put on the underhood plaque.

I'm pretty psyched for tomorrow when I'm due to pick it up, although the suspension install has been delayed due to a backlog at Koni, so it will only have the engine mods and exhaust.

Next bonus I might put in an LSD, otherwise I'm likely done with the mods. I'll post some pics and impressions after I pick it up tomorrow...

Haha - thx for the offer on the badges... I'll think about it...

I'm having it done at a dedicated BMW independent shop who happens to also be a Dinan dealer.

Congrats! I had the same mods on my previous 545.
