which tune were you looking at getting?

JB3, Procede, SSTT, JB+
for an engine/ecu flash...you have powerchip, dinan, and ESS

that 390 was probably not tune alone, nor was it on a 535...most likely a 335....335i's can be fitted with more extra's to increase the boost/performance unlike the 535

My Ride: 2008 535i: June 6th start build, complete June 17th, at NY Port July 5th, at dealer July 10th, took delivery Friday July 13- Plantimum Bronze/Natural Brown Leather/Light Poplar, Sport Package, Sport Auto, Active Steering, Premium Package, CWP & PDC. Dinan Performance Software 384hp & 421 ft/lbs.

Each type, piggyback or reflash has its pros and cons. The price range is huge as well, from about $500 to $2000. I chose the stage II ECU reflash from Dinan which is $2000. Not to side track the tread but how do you like the stage II? Does fuel economy in day to day driving change much?
Seriously, since a turbo motor is like having a variable displacement motor the gas milege has still got to be better than the 4.8 liter 550. The majority of the time I am consuming the gas of a 3.0 liter motor and less often consuming gas of a 5.2 liter motor.
