Sounds awesome!! .. I was looking @ the RPI sight and I didnt see a listing for an Xi. How much did that setup run you?
I got it from trinity for 800 bucks, this exhaust section isn't made specifically for the xi, it fits 525, 530, 545. the fitment isn't perfect but I have been told this exhaust was made for the m5

how does the exhaust sound when your doing 70mph? Or when you're at 3000rpm? I want a little more power, but I don't want the noise!
It is not too loud imo. I'm not very particular about noise, my stereo is blasting most of the time anyway so I don't notice it

what kinda fitment issues did you have?

well I think the stock section has 2 hangers and this one has only one and also the tips don't line up perfectly with the bumper, if you look at it from the back, the tips look slightly crooked. I don't mind it at all, it's hardly noticable

The tips are staggered the wrong way as well. The left tip is out further than the right when it is supposed to be the right tip further out than the left (looking at it from the rear). Also if this is the 545 or m5 design then you are going to lose a ton of low end power. The i6 already lacks low end but if your pipe diameter is that much bigger you will lose a ton.
How did you mate the pipes being such differing diameters?
