530xi owners/Suspension MODS COMING!

All:
I know there's a lot of people out there looking for springs/mods on the 530xi cars.
Dinan will have my car for engineering/testing after they get done with a number of consuming projects that they're working on right now. They will TRY to get the suspension right for all of us to get the car lowered a bit.
They will also be working with their wheels to come up with something that will work on the Xi model as well!
Woot woot!

This is awesome news! Great that Dinan actually has a forum member's car, so you can tell us when it will be released and how much it will be; rather than have some PR person give us false hope.
I can't imagine that their springs will be any cheaper than Hamann springs. Oh well, guess I will be waiting even longer now to get springs on my car. Did Steve give you any idea of when he will start on your car? Keep us updated please!

Gonna post the same question I asked you in the wheels guru thread you made, so that we can keep track in this thread as well. Just post whatever new info you get in this thread.
Since you are driving a E61, and Steve Dinan has your car in the shop for springs development, is he developing springs that will work with both E60 xi and E61 (Touring)? Because the E61 has the self leveling suspension, which would probably require different spring set ups; IE different coil tension and pitch. Would you be so kind and ask Steve Dinan if he's developing springs for the E60 or E61, or both.

Yeh Attila, we need a price before we commit to anything. Since Jed Peter's xi is in Dinan's shop, I'm gonna wait to see how well those springs work out, then decide.
