New 530D E61 arrives on Friday. Get to pick number plate this afternoon !
Just wondering if anyone out there has had a remap done on a 530D ?
What differences have you noticed in performance/fuel economy etc ?

Oh, not those sort of stories!!
Just get it remapped mate,it makes all the difference to these cars, I certainly have no regrets, and never heard anyone else say they have regretted it either.

Do a search for posts by Skaffa. He describes the process in quite a lot of detail. Mind you he had his car done in the Benelux if I remember right.
His car was the 218 hp one and after remap shows 311hp/693Nm. Nuff said really

I would go for Heinz (auto tune heinz) he has a rolling road as BMW in Germany and he has many contacts there and clients all over Europe, actually they were on with the guy then they sep. and there was kempower.
I prefer more torque as Stept can handle until 620Nm but!!! skaffa had a "not normal" version search for (my 530d is tuned by kempower)...

Interesting to see a drag between a remaped 530d and a stock 535d. I'll stick with wetterauer since i bealive that they do very good job from what others told me.
