My Ride: BMW 530D M Sport
Hi there. I find this forum by some luck and this is my first visit here... I am from Finland and 2 weeks ago I received my 530D M Sport. I think it was about the second M sport in Finland or at least in Helsinki (capital of Finland) where I am staying.
What kind of powers do you have in your cars with a chiptuning? I have talked with Hartge, which provides about 250 hp/550 but in Finland there is a company, who will provide with chip and with personal trimming about 270 hp/650-700 nm. My car is manual, does anyone know how 530D stands for this kind of power...

In Finland there is much discussion about chiptuning, maybe it is some kind of fashion at this time. I have done chiptuning with my two previous cars since 1999 so I know something about it but never done with BMW.
I notice Skaffas project, which is very interesting. However in these pages there are not so much other discussion with chips comparing to Finland. Is it so, that in other countries you are not so interested in chiptuning ? (or I can not use search button with right words...)
My project will contain chip and 20" wheels (when spring will come in Finland in april...), maybe dark glasses and black rear lights. And the car is also black as well as interior.

. But here me, M Sport is really magnificent, especially interior. My previous car was M5 E39 and after that 530D is a bit disappointment. Sure as a diesel it is awesome car and more comfortable but chiptuning is necessity for me to have that smile again into my face...
