My Ride: 05 bmw 530, no engine
530-550 engine swap (the car is an 05)
So I was just given a 530 from my father, but, the engine is destroyed so I need to swap it out. I’ve been thinking about putting a 550 engine in it. I’d be doing all the work on the car myself at my dads shop (including the engine swap), leading to my question, just how tedious would the work be to swap engines and fit it all together? (As posted in the title the car is an 05)
