to honest i can't tell the difference between the 20's vs. the 18's.... they both corner tremendously well...i got the 20's strictly for appearance.
i'll try to put pictures up hopefully sometime soon....the maya wheels i have are the dtm....they're polished silver....i too don't like the chrome look...size of tires are 275/30/20 in the back, 245/35/20 in the front. I have seen pics on the internet of the E60 with 20's; however I did not know that they would fit without changes to the car. The size you bought are probably give your car a more sporty look. :D |
On a semi related note I parked next to an E60 525 yesterday, without the sport package so it had the std trapezoidal rims (16" I believe they are). Color was jet black as mine. Appearance of those stock rims versus my 18" had a tremedous effect on the look of the car. Very common looking with the stock rims while the 18's filled the wells out perfectly.
For those opting for bigger rims, can you please post some pics. Like to see how they look |
Does anyone have an E60 with 20" rims? If so, can you post the pictures?
Thanks. :( |
