Hi all,

thinking of putting mods to my 520i to enhance driving performance.

Wondering if any suggestions from others in forum on what are some of the best value for money mods or changes I can make to my ride?
No unlimited budget unfortunately, so got to stick to the top few!

k&n filter and take out the charcoal filter. one of the cheapest mods.

My Ride: 2005 530i JETBLACK/BLACK DAKOTA, COLD WEATHER PKG, PREMIUM PKG, ADAPTIVE XENON HEADLIGHTS, AUTO TRANSMISSION WITH 6 SPEED STEPTRONIC, BLUETOOTH SETUP,SAT SETUP AND WIFE AS CO-PILOT

i wouldnt say its the cheapest.... but it is one mod that totally changes the cars look ..thats a good set of rims.... for me lowered and rims....i think im done...car looks good...ericd

so I would loose some weight (of your car) on wheels buy BMW or HAMANN or other alloys, they costs but they LAST look awesome and SAVES a lot on weight!!!

Lowering springs, if you are near the road the aerodynamic charasteristics are way better!!! and the handling gets also much precise, as side-effect the speed of your car in corners increase and your top speed might also.

All spoilers which has real working air ducts (like mine) has real aerodynamic effects. Also try not to put too much weight in trunk etc, drive alone and have DSC off and have fun

Cheapest MOD which takes 2mins install: Rear Reflectors (Can be bought for $20 (total for both) from Dealer
