If you wanted 195hp, you should've went with a 525i and not a 520i.
Word of advice from a person who has had this engine for a while (Prob the only car my family ever had that never went to the dealer other than the regular brake and oil change), keep it as is and enjoy it
Don't play with the engine.
HOWEVER, ENJOY MODDING THE BODY AS MUCH AS YOU WANT![Twoup](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/twoup.gif)
But thats just my opinion.

And if, after this advice, you still want to fiddle with a remap there is practically no gain to be had from this engine...don't let the "tuners" out there fool you..
An non turbo engine like this isn't worth the effort...invest in a good filter for your OEM box, maybe a RPi scoop and a good flowing exhaust..
...or save up for a higher spec model

my car now is faster than a stock 530 on short twisty road.
I think most track ppl agree that a good mod handing car is better than just little bit more HP.
even if you do get 10% more hp but you can not fully use it because the car handing is not up to it and just wasting power.
