why did you or anyone else invest 40-50? in this, if you can buy a two chrome tail pipes and let them burn into the old one, which u cut off?
excuse me and my english, i don't know the exact words for the car but still i hope you can understand

The car in this post is my previous car, which like my current one, is a company car. That means a very big "NO-GO" with mods!! You'll note the only "mods" I have done are to add OEM options, such as the chrome tailpipe and grills on my previous E60, and the 19" OEM rims on my previous and current E60.
If you are interested in getting twin pipes for your 520d, get in contact with our member luxembourg who had his 520d's single tail pipe modded to a twin tail pipe for very little money.

Hi,
Anybody know if these are still avaliable (for an e61 pre facelift 520d) as bmw-chromteile.de seems to be "under construction"
Cheers,
Slime

You are correct, the bmw-chromteile site is no longer being used. The owner Alex Neetzel is building a new site. Until then you can still order the parts via email at alexneetzel@web.de. You can order in English!
In November this year I ordered original BMW E46 interior chrome trim from him. As with the chrome-tailpipe order at the start of this post/topic, the whole process was uncomplicated and quick

That looks great xBMWx
I actually got my tail pipe polished by the detailer who sorted my car. It's now nice and shiny, but still retains the straight cut edge as opposed to the rolled in edge. Still it would have been nice if BMW cared about their 2.0l buyers and fitted it originally!
