520d (auto) chip/mapping or dont bother?

My Ride: 520D 2006 - Media Package, M-tec Kit, Lighting package, extended lights, Leather seats, Auto High beam. Carbon Black, with black leather.
Hi everyone, Im thinking about getting one of the chips to increase the responsiveness of my car and hopefully fuel economy. But i dont know if its really worth spending the money on one?
My car is still in its warranty, and the last thing i want to do is lose it.
If you think i should get a chip, which one? there are so many out there, i have no idea where to start.
Also the pretty much the same for mapping, I'm the type of guy who likes to keep my car software upto date and it will just keep wiping the mapping off, so i dont know if its worth it at all?
If anyone could help that would be great.

I had it done on my 520D Manual. It does really transform the car. The 2.0L engine is great on the E90 but on the E60 seems a tad sluggish and the remap resolves that.

I will be the owner of a 520d E61 soon (150 hp). Heinz (www.autotuneheinz.be) may be a good choice for the Benelux people. 185 hp instead of 150 and 390 Nm instead of 340. What do you think?

I'm located in Belgium not far from Tournai (Doornik). The result is amazing on this engine.

Hey guys, Im in the UK (london). So i really need someone here to do it for me.
As for remaps or chips, they are different in any way? Which is better? Like i said in my first post i dont want BMW to find out about the mod.

in BE get Heinz's or send in to Germany, HAMANN up to you all choices, just not boxes!!!
