I'm fairly sure that Alpina doesn't make that wheel in a 20", I think it's 19 suggested for the e60 and 21" for the e65. Those sure look bigger than 19's, and yea, to me that looks fantastic. ANyone know what the ET is on the 21" 128's...?

And does anybody know where that pic came from? I'd love to see more, and have more details. That's about the best set up e60 I have seen....

My 0.002 are that it may be a replica a nice one as Alpina will not do 20"s and the diffuser seems HMN so does the exhasuts but cannot see it well on the pic.

I would tend to agree, but might those be 21's? If they are copies, they are excellent one, as the center cap detail looks real too. Alpina does make them for the 7, so...And i agree about the mufflers. I'd just really like to know the real size of the wheel tire combo so I could make a judgment...
How about the guy who posted this pic, do you know where it came from?

21" are crazy but I've seen them done several times especially with the Hartge Classic 2 like so
21", who's gonna be the first to try?-44m5_australia_3.jpg
21", who's gonna be the first to try?-44photo30.jpg
21", who's gonna be the first to try?-44board1.jpg
A very nice gathering of M5s in Australia, combined for 2650 HP ( you all know the engine is 530hp right?) He speaks that the ride is a little harsh but not as bad as he expected.

Boy that m5 is something else..yes, I've seen that Hartge has the Classic 2 in 21, but their site shows that you need work in the front and rear fenders to make it work, and the M5 has more room in the front fender than the stock E60.
That's why I want to know about this black car...I'm pretty sure those are real Alpina wheels, if you take a look at the center cap. Question is, are they 19's with some really low ride height, or the 21" from the E65? I'd rather avoid the spring thing if I can, but most of the 19" setups I see just don't fil up the fender enough.
That's why I'm looking for the origin of this picture!

The Alpinas look like 20", that is the most the regular E60 will allow without any work and I think I've read in other threads where they still rub with 20" but you would have to wait for someone who actually has 20" job on their car to respond.

Quick Reply: 21", who's gonna be the first to try?
