looking fab i was considering these in silver for mine but wasnt to sure but now hmmm 
think i may take the plunge. is there much difference on the drive compared to the 19s

My Ride: 535d Sport, carbon black, media pack, visibility pack, grey leather, heated seats, sun protection glass, voice control, Eibach ProKit, 19" 166 style wheels, e-maps ECU remap to 325hp and 640NM, top speed limiter removed

xxterxx, no they don't and won't touch the arch. There is just enough space left to nicely clear, also on full compression.
monacobmw, no, no spacers involved. He has the wheel manufactured for different cars with different offsets, PDC's etc. so they sit very nice with just the wheel on. Guess if I put any size spacer on, I'm asking for trouble.
Don-V-, no there is no difference to 19's, really, as with the slightly oversized tyre choice (275/30 instead of 285/25 and 245/35 instead 245/30) you roughly keep the same amount of rubber on top of the wheel as you do with 19's.

With over dimensioned front tyres it doesn't harm the speedometer nor the iDrive?
What about the Toyo rubbers, only for one summer?

The Toyos will be good for one season minimum, but at the price I got them for, I can nearly buy 3 sets of Toyo for one set of Michelins and I have always loved the Toyo.
