My Ride: 2009 535ix
After phoning around here in Canada, I got the best deal for the KW V3 Coilovers from Modbargains. I must admit that I was a little bit skeptical going with Modbargains because they wouldn't accept my Canadian credit card. In the end, no one else could match their price. I figured that since they were well supported in this forum, that I would take the plunge. Paid by bank wire transfer.
Shipped via dbschenker. The package was held up in Calgary for a few days until it cleared Canada Customs. dbSchenker would not clear the package for me (unlike FedEx or UPS). Brokerage companies wanted $80 plus the taxes to do it so I decided to do it myself. It was really easy. I took a copy of the receipt along with the tracking info from dbSchenker to my local Canada Customs office here in Saskatoon, paid the pst and gst, faxed the stamped papers to dbSchenker, and two days later I had my coilovers. The whole process took me less than hour door to door from my house and I saved myself $80. The customs agent was great. He filled out the form stating that the package was made in the USA so I didn't have to pay any extra duties. He also adjusted the CDN value of the package because the exchange rate that dbschenker used seemed way too high.
Yogi at Prairie Autohaus did the install. Set the rebound and compression right in the middle and had them drop it as member Seipäänreikä had suggested...I think it was 35cm from fender to centre of wheel? I'd have to look it up again. Anyways, the ride is great. Comfortable and tight. Most important, it looks 100x better than stock height.
I'm going to save the oem rims, put some blizzaks on them and use them for winter. I might get spacers for the rears as I am not a big fan of the muffin top appearance the high offset wheels give off.
I still need 19's for summer. If the alufelgen CS7's were in stock anywhere, I would have bought them by now. I may just go with the BBS CH instead.
Overall, I am happy with the purchase. I would have loved to spend my money here in Canada but in the end, the price difference was just too much and I couldn't pass up the deal.

There's a nice set of 19" CH's on e46fanatics (linky) right now. Just get those, swap the rubber and you'll be good to go
(and yes, those offsets WILL WORK )

Yeah I have that 35cm. Doesn´t look too slammed and you can still drive into garages etc.
Its a good choise to use those 135`s as a winter set. I might get those spacers for the rear also...will have to see first how it looks like with my style 122`s...well I already know, its that "muffin" -look like you said
BBS CH would be great choise, for my taste the most beautiful wheels would be the style 128`s.
