Couple of quick questions from a new owner (~3 days.)

I have the list for parts to do a factory M5 conversion for a 07 but has anything changed between 07 and 08 that I would need to address? I have a 528i Automatic in White.

Idea's on total cost say 3-4K + Paint.

I keep seeing fiberglass front and rears (~800$) but not the side panel/skirts or trunk spoiler in a replica kit. I would prefer not to cut the wheel wheel liners and I would like to use factory bits if possible. Any recommendations on someone who might have a complete kit that needs minimal fitting available.

If I convert the headliner to the ultra suede that is in the M5 will I be able to buy factory black door pillar panels (Afraid of covering due to airbags in windshield pillars.) I have a Dakota Brown/Black interior.

Can I fit a set of M5 wheels on the standard car without modification to the brakes, I see bunch of pictures with them on but not sure if they are OE or reps.

How easy is it to pull the sunroof out so I can spray the roof black?

Modification list stands right now at

Wanted
M5 Body.
Black/Carbon Roof.
M5 Wheels.
Carbon Kidneys
Carbon Side Vents
Brown to Black Suede headliner.

Ordered
Custom quiet exhaust
Upgraded Amps/Speakers/Cleansweap
35% Tint.
Carbon Roundal's
Complete Debadge.

Maybe
Folding M5 Mirrors.
Wood/Leather upgraded steering wheel.

Its really hard to do a search for this stuff because M5 is to short for the search function.

If "M5" is too short, you're probably gonna want it for an E60 M5 and not an E39, so try putting that in

Pretty much, I could have bought the M5 but I wanted the comfort and the range of the standard car. So suspension mods will be to a minimum, and I am adding extra sound blockers when I do the stereo and headliner if I can get it to fit.

Anything three letters or below is not allowed by the search engine here so the only word that reliably brings up info is conversion.

If anybody finds this in search there is a difference in the upper mounting bracket but once I have the part number I will post it up. Externally no difference.

Going to start ordering parts in a month or so after I finish the tint and stereo.
