Does this exist? I heard that the pre lci model will not work with an lci for some reason but the 2008 m5 may work...Has someone made this happen yet? I tried to search the forum but the search feature of this site frustrates me...

I did. You'll need to replace the whole trunk to a pre-LCI to fit a finisher. 08 M5s have pre-LCI trunks. GL w/ the mod.

You can but it's not a perfect fit. I've been one of the lucky guinea pig 2 years ago by EuroRev and I wasn't satisfied with the fitment. I got a hold of a used oem M5 trunk on this forum for $300. You should be able to snag a used pre-LCI trunk from junk yards or online. Yes it will cost you a few hundred to do the whole M5 trunk conversion but to me it's worth it.
