I am starting my mods!!!! I want sooo many things...first things first. I am seeking some OEM 166 rims to get started. I have read so much about these on other cars except the 2008 528i. So I called local delaer to order but he states those rims for the M5 will rub on my car. Is this true? And also do I need spacers or anything like that?
Thanks in advance

They will rub with M5 tyres, but with the right tyre size for a non-M5 they fit perfectly. The right sizes would be:
F: 245/35 R19
R: 275/30 R19 (or 285/30)
The 166's rear wheels are available with two different offsets; ET28 and ET17
If you can choose, take the ET17 version and you don't need spacers. If going with the ET28 version, then maybe 12-15mm spacer would be good. Fronts don't need spacers.
I hope this helps!
