Default 2007 E60 535d LCI - Brake Pad Help

Right I have already decided on OEM discs, uprated Super DOT 4 fluid and HEL braided lines as my brake components. However I am VERY STUCK on pad choice...

I don't want OEM, I want something better within reasonable cost so I went on ECP (EuroCarParts) and found the following:

535d and M5 have the same rear pads (using brembo for comparison):
Brembo Brake Pad (Rear)Product Code: 10111040A

Although the 535d also has: Product Code: 10111042A, which seems to be the same thickness as the above pad just different height?

As for the fronts they have the following options:
535d - Product Code: 10111044A
M5 - Product Code: 10111044A and Product Code: 10111074A

As far as the discs go the M5's are obviously larger at the front: 374 vs 348 and at the rear.

There is another guy on this forum which confirmed that the pads work vice versa (it is a post from 2013 though).

So with that in mind, the front and rear pads for both vehicles should be the same? Meaning I can go and buy Ferodo pads for an M5 and they should theoretically fit straight on?

Reason I am asking all this is because it is virtually impossible to find aftermarket pads for a 535d. Like I looked up ferodo ds2500 for example and there is every other bloody model of E60 but the 535d and 550i! (which I know for sure have the same brakes). It is frustrating to say the least

Any help will be highly appreciated, and I will owe you a beer!

Cheers,

Stoycho
